The CAL Lab will collaborate together with researchers from different departments within the School of Architecture, KTH that have similar interests as well as other Schools and environments outside the Royal Institute of Technology. Aside from senior academics, the Lab will include a number of Post-Doc’s, PhD and Masters Students.
There will also be a number of 20 international, world class distinguished and renowned academics affiliated to the CAL LAB, as: Professor David Canter, Professor Emily Talen, Professor Setha Low, Professor Margaret Crawfrod, Professor Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, Professor Timothy Beatley, Professor Steffen Lehman, Professor Julian Julian Agyeman, Professor Mahyar Arefi, Professor Robert Cervero and Professor Alfredo Brillembourg, Professor Ali Madanipour, Associate Professor Aseem Inam, Professor Sasha Tsenkova, Professor Margrit Hugentobler, Associate Professor Charles Bohl, Professor Douglas Kelbaugh, Associate Professor Malcolm McCullough, Professor Matthew Carmona and Assistant Professor Sarah Williams
Distinguished Professors Manuel Castells, Professor Emeritus of Sociology, and Professor Emeritus of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley and Saskia Sassen, Robert S. Lynd Professor of Sociology at Columbia University (both KTH honorary doctors) have a special honorary affiliation to the CAL as well as Professor Edward Glaeser, Fred and Eleanor Glimp Professor of Economics at Harvard Kennedy School. The Intention of CAL Lab is to, aside from research, also actively engage in publishing, local debates, and various other collaborations outside the KTH and ultimately engage in diverse practice oriented activities with practitioners, decision makers and local community.
